ABOUT OUR SPIRITUAL MASTER : JAGADGURU SHRI KRIPALU JI MAHARAJ
In the
year 1922, a Nittya-Siddh (eternally-liberated soul) descended on the earth on the auspicious night of Sharad Purnima, the
full-moon night on which Lord Krishna had performed the Divine Dance Maharas some 5000 years ago. Named Ram Kripalu Tripathi
by his parents, he descended in Mangarh village (near Allahabad, India) in a most respected brahman family.
From
a very young age he was always absorbed in the divine bliss of Radha Krishna's love. His sublimely sweet chanting of the
names, pastimes and glories of Radha Krishna transported aspiring devotees to heights of devotion hitherto unimaginable and
unknown to them.
Being recognized as a divine personality with total mastery of every scripture (Vedas, Upanishads,
Sutras, Ramayan, Bhagvad Gita, Puranas, Bible , Koran etc.) despite never having studied any of them he was officially declared
in 1957 as “Jagadguru”. (Jagadguru means spiritual master of the entire world).
The following other
titles were also bestowed upon him: - Bhakti Yog Rasavatar - meaning Descension of the Nectar of Divine
Love. - Nikhil-darshan-samanvaya-acharya – meaning the supreme acharya of this age who reconciled
the philosophies of all the Darshan Shastras. - Jagadgurutam – meaning the supreme amongst
all Jagadgurus.
Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj is only the fifth personality in the recorded history of India
to be given the highest and most honorific title amongst all saints and scholars of India, that of “Jagadguru”
. He is also the only personality in recorded history to be declared as Bhakti Yog Rasavatar.
